Mr. Elliot Krasnow, Founder (and former President/CEO) of Netspace, whose corporate office is in Miami, FL., has been engaged in the creation, hosting, SEO marketing and promotion of website, SEO and email publishing solutions for small to mid-sized companies and professionals throughout the United States and the United Kingdom. The company was founded in 1996 and began franchising in late 2000. With multiple locations in the United States and the United Kingdom, Netspace was one of Entrepreneur’s Top 500 fastest growing Internet franchise companies committed solely to the deployment of digital solutions delivered locally by on-site franchise owners that are skilled e-business architects and consultants. In late 2002, working with VFinance Corp., Mr. Krasnow took the franchise division public.
Subsequently, in early 2005, through a reverse merger with Ariel Way, Inc., a company formed to provide voice, data, and converged highly secure global communication solutions, the public entity was acquired, and Netspace continued as a privately held company. In the summer of 2006, Netspace was sold to a seasoned group of business entrepreneurs and investors who were eager to further build out the Netspace concept whereby SME’s could use Netspace products and trademarks in leveraging the Internet to grow their businesses. Mr. Krasnow was also President/CEO of Backvault Direct, Inc., an offsite, online remote backup and file sharing service seeking to grow its business utilizing the online subscription model.
Mr. Krasnow had previously enjoyed a successful career in the sales and marketing profession. He headed companies in the retail marketing of financial services and tangible assets. With David Sandler as a mentor, in 1992 he found his niche as a national sales trainer and was President of the Sandler Sales Institute franchise in South Florida.
Recapturing his days as a TV commercial and feature film producer who worked both in New York and California in the 1970’s, from 1994 to 1995, Mr. Krasnow was Associate Producer for Mako Films International, Inc. From 1995 to 1999, Mr. Krasnow, as President of Netspace, Inc., which, together with iMALL, Inc., and later, SNAP.com (an NBC property), was engaged in the creation, (tele)marketing and promotion of websites and the Internet Consulting business in local markets nationally. He coined the phrase, "the local wide web" and produced a 30 minute infomercial in 2000 titled "The Internet Revolution", which was aired across the U.S. to introduce the Netspace platform.
Elliot was also a member of The Internet Coast, the Aventura Marketing Council and the Greater Miami Chamber Of Commerce. From 1997 to 2006, he had been writing and editing a monthly Internet newsletter titled “Netletter”, and, through these writings, experience and insights, is currently writing a book chronicling 10 years of growth on the commercial world wide web as well as being a survival guide for career serial entrepreneurs. He grew up in the investment banking world as his father was a member of the New York Stock Exchange with over 35 years in the securities business.
Elliot and his wife are also Golden Angels at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Miami, FL., Founders at Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach, FL., and have established The Krasnow Endowed Scholarship Fund in the College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Biology, at the University of Miami. They have been residing in Miami for 25+ years, and have one son.
Also, in 2007, Mr. Krasnow was a Founder and President of a newly created ICANN accredited registrar focused on the global travel and tourism industry, as well as working with a New York media company and a publicly listed Florida web firm that had partnered in the development and launch of an innovative and topical Web 2.0 social membership site delivering free VoIP services globally as an additional feature to its members' profiles and videos.
Currently living a "semi-retired" lifestyle, Mr. Krasnow is incubating personal projects building new web platforms as well as coaching/mentoring individuals and companies in high level sales, traffic and lead generation, SEO, affiliate and CPA marketing, and Internet consulting on a selective basis. He is also a stakeholder in an online reputation mananagement company focused on image repair and personal brand management when challenged by removing negative SERPs (search engine result pages).
